David at Pet Ortho Braces is the BEST. My 14 year old Matipoo could barely walk on her front legs anymore. With an incredible amount of care and dedication, Dave crafted front leg braces for her. Not only that, but he worked with us in followup appointments to make sure the braces were doing their job, as best as possible; he not only crafted an entirely new pair when the first weren’t fitting quite right, but then made multiple adjustments to the second pair to give Tansy the best chance for walking normally. To say these braces have been a miracle for us is nothing short of the truth. I am incredibly grateful to Dave for giving me more time with Tansy and giving her a better quality of life for the remainder of her life!
We HIGHLY recommend Pet Ortho Braces! Our girl, Kiva, was missing a paw when we adopted her at 2 years old. We received a recommendation to see David in Scottsdale to get her a new prosthetic to give her “4 wheel drive”. It is a 2 hour drive for us to his office, but MORE than worth the time!! David and Mark assessed Kiva and determined she was a good prosthetic candidate. The HUGE benefit of working with Pet Ortho Braces is that they do all of the work right there – casting, fabricating the prosthetic, fitting, adjustments, etc. So the person that meets and assesses your dog is the same one building the mobility solution. They have been wonderful to work with and really take the time to get to know their patient, determine the best solution, and make it happen! We could not be happier with Pet Ortho Braces…and Kiva seconds that!
Very very very happy with price, service, and quality with getting a hauck brace for my dog Lola. Big improvement with her mobility on her right rear leg. Lucky to find them locally in Scottsdale. I was looking and talking to other places out of town like Tucson or Colorado.
I have and will recommend them to my vet and other people.

He was amazing with creating a custom brace for him, following through with check up appointments and keeping up with me until his discharge date. It took 15 weeks to heal Spot’s leg and the results were worth the time. I 100% would suggest this treatment and care to anyone looking for a surgery alternative!

Wonderful experience with David! He’s knowledgeable, creative, so kind to my dog. He made a carpal brace that works well, and then made a second brace as an experiment! Both braces are excellent!
